Of the approximately 7,000 SS personnel who served at the Auschwitz-Birkenau complex and satellite camps, only 63 were ever tried. Interview with Michael Goldman-Gilad, Investigative Officer for the Eichmann Trial
This exclusive interview with former police Superintendent Michael Goldman-Gilad focuses on his time in Bureau 06, the police task force assigned to prepare the case for the landmark war crimes trial of Adolf Eichmann. Goldman-Gilad sheds light on the process leading up to the trial and his own feelings as a Holocaust survivor collecting evidence against a Nazi war criminal. Read more
