Research Symposia
Workshop - Pope Pius XII and the Holocaust Current State of Research, 8-9 March 2009
The Institute holds one and two-day symposia throughout the year. These symposia bring together established and new scholars from Israel and abroad. Some of the symposia conducted are in honor of books recently published by Yad Vashem. Other symposia that take place in the Institute focus on specific topics related to the Shoah.

The transcripts of the symposium Pope Pius and the Holocaust: Current State of Research, which took place on 8-9 March 2009 between researchers invited by Yad Vashem and researchers invited by the Vatican via the Studium Theologicum Salesianum Santi Pietro e Paolo, will be published in 2012.
